JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Sales Account Manager - Fans
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
LOCATION: Manufacturing Plant – Lagrange, OH
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise and sales skill to promote and sell Verantis’ Industrial Equipment and other products. The Sales Account Manager will serve as the primary interface between the company and its outside sales representatives, consultants, customers and potential customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred; other degrees will be considered if accompanied by relevant experience.
Experience:
3–5 years’ sales and/or business experience in the manufacturing industry; air pollution control/industrial equipment or related are preferred.
Skills and Additional Requirements:
Computer efficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to utilize CRM software. This individual must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Win orders and work collaboratively with sales and the global business to promote growth
Apply consultative selling techniques to accurately assess customer needs and the competitive landscape for each opportunity, tailoring pricing and approach to secure a maximum amount of orders
Proactively work to understand Verantis’ competitive standing on proposals, including won/lost reasons, providing feedback to the sales team
Utilize Verantis’ CRM system to manage effective follow-up and data capture
Generate high quality proposals and other customer responses within agreed upon deadlines
Provide technical expertise to customers, manufacturer’s representatives and engineering organizations to assist in the proper selection and differentiation of Verantis' equipment
Accurately estimate costs including engineering, buy-out, and in-house manufactured items
Interpret contract terms and negotiate with clients to appropriately manage risk
Communicate Verantis' commitments to customers and the project team internally effectively
Adapts to change and is willing to work with others to search for clarity
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
