This position also utilizes a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.Essential Functions, Duties, And ResponsibilitiesVerify accurate counts of products and suppliesMaintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food itemsLoad and unload trucks as necessary. May be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as neededStocks and organizes the warehouse. Follows sanitation and safety guidelines. Supervise and Direct Inmate LaborOrder Paper, Cleaning, tools, & Food products based on menusEnsure delivery Vehicles are inspectedOversee and Manage Drivers dutiesConduct daily and weekly inspections of areasConduct Inmate and staff trainingTool ControlSchedule Preventative maintenance on warehouse equipmentSupport all deliveries to kitchens and ordersReconcile weekly usage reportOther duties as determined by the needs of the businessWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age. 1 year or more experience in a food service role. Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus. ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment.
