Custodian

We're in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a janitor. You'll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. If you take pride in a clean space and love working on a team, fill out an application.Responsibilities:Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintainedVacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans dailyReplace light bulbs, clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms on a regular basis as scheduledRemove dangerous hazards and clean up spills with squeegees or spongesWrite reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairsQualifications:At least 1 years of experience in janitorial servicesStrong working knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipmentExcellent stamina and physical healthPossesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detailDriver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite is requiredAbout Company:The Lift Bridge Lodge is an independently owned hotel on the shores of Lake Superior.
