The role demands a strong industrial machine sales background, with a focus on precision manufacturing equipment, and requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in industrial or B2B capital equipment sales, with a proven record of exceeding targets.Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior sales leadership or management role, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in selling CNC machine tools, grinding machines, or similar precision manufacturing equipment, and possess strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools is essential for effective decision-making, as is the ability to understand technical specifications and communicate value to engineering and procurement audiences. The role also requires a willingness to travel and the potential for relocation to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
