Phlebotomist III - FloatPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Float to support our client's medical facility in West Saint Paul, MN. This is a 4+ month contract with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Location: West Saint Paul, MN 55118Pay Rate: $27 - 28/hr on W2. Duration: 4+ MonthsShift: Mon-Fri Day shift between 6:45 am and 7:00 pm. Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established protocols.Draw high-quality blood samples, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Verify patient identification, demographics, and signatures after venipuncture.Ensure tubes are labeled in the patient's presence and properly documented.Perform daily tasks accurately and in a timely manner under supervisor direction.Maintain required records, logs, and documentation.Uphold a clean, safe, and professional workspace.Process specimens as needed (experience in processing required).Job RequirementsAbility to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.Must demonstrate superior customer focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
