Job Description and Responsibilities:Installs new electrical wiring or equipment according to current NEC codesInstalls and troubleshoots commercial lighting, receptacles, panels, circuits, and controlsPerforms new installation of power distribution, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 240VACPerforms installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, devices, equipment and components including generators, automatic transfer switches, and surge protection devicesMaintains and assists in repairing equipment and systemsTroubleshoots concerns or issues and performs root-cause analysis to determine cause of issues or concernsInterprets and understands electrical, architectural, and MEP prints and schematics Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environmentRequired Qualifications: Current journeyman-level electrician experience 3+ years of experience as a licensed electrician Proficiency in handling low to high voltage up to 240 VACKnowledge in sizing breakers, transformers, and wireExperience in designing and installing electrical systemsSkill in identifying and correcting electrical hazardsAbility to interpret electrical prints and schematicsComprehensive knowledge of electrical and facility safety (OSHA)Experience testing equipment and circuit wiring with multimeters and/or oscilloscopesFlexibility to undertake tasks outside core competencies as requiredPreferred Qualifications: Proficiency in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VACCapability to review and redline drawings for work performedPossession of a Journeyman Electrician LicenseKnowledge of workplace electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E)Experience with documenting maintenance activities and managing service records within a CMMS platform such as Qualer, Upkeep, etcPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbsComputer Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency in Google Docs, Google Drive, and GmailWork Environment: Laboratory, vivarium, office, cleanroom, and manufacturing spaceExpected Compensation:At Neuralink, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is expected to be within the below range.
