Surgical Tech Location: Bangor, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,706 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience License: BLS Certifications: CST preferred but not required Must-Have: Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, and Ascending Aortic Repairs Description: Manager interviews are required. The position involves working in a cardiac operating room with two designated ORs for cardiovascular procedures. The average number of cases performed per day is 3 to 4 in the CVOR. Candidates should be comfortable wearing lead during procedures. Support on the unit includes a supervisor, manager, assistant manager, and team leads for each service line. An anesthesia tech will assist with room turnover, along with an orderly. The technology in use includes EMR systems (Cerner required), IV pumps (Alaris), and medication dispensing systems (Pyxis). Floating is not applicable for this role. Scheduling details will be discussed during the interview and are subject to change. Weekend rotation is one weekend day every four weeks, with weekend shifts determined by the specifics of the hire. Call is required for surgical technologists and is negotiable. Response time for call is 30 minutes. Holiday expectations are minimal and will depend on the schedule. Surgical scrubs will be provided for this role.
