(Salary is $52,675.20 + $9000 annual flat salary stipend.)Experience and additional applicable graduate credits will advance you on the salary schedule.FPS values professional growth and supports a New Teacher Mentorship Program.New Teachers are offered a one-time salary advance opportunity to increase their August paycheck. We want to assist in all ways possible through the transition into the teaching profession.Paid Leave: 4 Personal Days; 9 Sick Days; 5 Bereavement Days; Civic Leave; and Professional Leave as determined by administrators. Certified staff also administer a Sick Leave Bank that all certified staff are eligible to join on an annual basis. Functioning as a member of building resource teams whenever possible, the Speech/Language Pathologist shall assist other staff members and parents or guardians in the development and implementation of appropriate services designed to meet the individual needs of students referred.Frequent:Identify, diagnose, assess, interpret, report, and assist in planning for the needs of students experiencing communicative disorders of fluency, voice, articulation, and/or language.Plan and/or participate in conferences with parents.Assist in the development of individual intervention or therapy plans for students, implement these plans through the provision of direct or indirect service to students, evaluate student's progress in therapy, and adjust student individual programs when necessary.Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Teams and staffings.Assist staff and parents in referring students to other community agencies when appropriate.Plan, participate in or evaluate inservice activities upon request of principals, staff, or Director of Student Services.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:NEVER (0%)OCCASIONAL (1-32%)FREQUENT (33-66%)CONSTANT (67%+)A.
