Functioning as a member of building resource teams whenever possible, the Speech/Language Pathologist shall assist other staff members and parents or guardians in the development and implementation of appropriate services designed to meet the individual needs of students referred.Frequent:Identify, diagnose, assess, interpret, report, and assist in planning for the needs of students experiencing communicative disorders of fluency, voice, articulation, and/or language.Plan and/or participate in conferences with parents.Assist in the development of individual intervention or therapy plans for students, implement these plans through the provision of direct or indirect service to students, evaluate student's progress in therapy, and adjust student individual programs when necessary.Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Teams and staffings.Assist staff and parents in referring students to other community agencies when appropriate.Plan, participate in or evaluate inservice activities upon request of principals, staff, or Director of Student Services.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:NEVER (0%)OCCASIONAL (1-32%)FREQUENT (33-66%)CONSTANT (67%+)A.
