Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology (BMT/Chemotherapy)Location: Neptune, NJ 07754Job Type: ContractContract: 13 weeks with strong possibility of extensionSchedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-hour shifts (Weekends required as needed)Guaranteed hours per week: 36.00Pay: Local $2200 Travel: $2500Job SummaryPride Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity in Neptune, NJ. The RN will provide specialized care to patients in a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and chemotherapy oncology unit, working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.Responsibilities• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with treatment and care planning• Develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care needs• Administer therapeutic nursing interventions, including chemotherapy care• Monitor and manage patient conditions in an acute oncology setting• Maintain accurate documentation based on clinical standards and patient acuity• Advocate for evidence-based practices and quality care improvements• Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes• Perform additional duties as assignedRequirements• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License• BLS Certification (AHA) required• Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience (leukemia & lymphoma preferred)• Experience in inpatient oncology/BMT setting• Strong clinical, assessment, and critical thinking skillsWhy Work with Pride Health?Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
