Come and experience your future!As a Local Area Network (LAN) and Test Engineer on the Aegis Modernization Team you will:Work on software integration projects that will vary from weapons systems command and control software, to network interface management software, to combat systems mission specific software, to electronic detection systems.Integrate into a small, high-performing team.Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.Independently author formal test procedures, standard operating procedures, and data reports.Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing. components, elements, subsystems, and systems.Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability, develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.Perform analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.Write discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.Relentlessly pursue continuous improvement, emphasize outcomes over metrics, and be a good teammate.Be able to interpret complex system requirements. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
