Senior Investment Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Miami to support a growing Bitcoin treasury company that currently holds ~$3bn in assets and is looking to expand its US presence. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of both corporate and investment accounting principals and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & ReportingOversee and maintain the organization's financial records, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and periodic reportsRecord and manage cryptocurrency activity, specifically Bitcoin holdings and transactionsPerform reconciliations for digital asset wallets, custodial platforms, and exchange accountsContribute to monthly and quarterly closing activitiesAssist in compiling financial statements along with detailed supporting documentationLiaise with external auditors and tax professionals as neededUtilize accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or similar tools to maintain accurate recordsDigital Asset Treasury ManagementTrack, document, and monitor Bitcoin-related movements, including transfers and acquisitionsMaintain up-to-date records of wallet holdings and transaction historySupport relationships and coordination with custodians and trading platformsAssist with internal reporting and oversight of digital asset positionsGovernance, Risk & ComplianceKeep thorough transaction documentation and internal recordsSupport the execution and monitoring of internal control frameworksAssist in ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements tied to digital asset activitiesPrepare and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviewsOperational & Strategic SupportPartner closely with the CFO on treasury management and operational projectsCoordinate efforts across internal departments and with external vendors or advisorsContribute to identifying efficiencies and improving operational workflows
