Job DetailsIQ Resource Group is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Neenah, WI, with starting pay between $24-$30/hour. This is a strong long-term role with a company known for custom builds, hands-on work, and a steady pipeline of projects-ideal for someone looking to grow their career and take on a leadership role.Position: Mechanical AssemblerWage: $24- $30Location: Neenah, WIHours: Monday-Friday 8am-3:30pmPosition Summary:This position is responsible for creating new mechanical equipment designs, modifying existing designs, and verifying that designs are accurate and valid for the application. This position requires heavy attention to detail. This individual will work closely with the Engineering Manager, Sr. Project Engineers, and Project Management to create accurate and timely project drawings. PAI emphasizes and coaches a Team approach to problem solving throughout the organization.Job Duties:Develop equipment design solutions to meet customer's application and specificationsDevelop comprehensive details of the equipment which will be used to communicate the design to the assembly staff as well as outside vendors for fabricationDevelop a bill of materials for the equipment designedInterface with customers to verify project/equipment requirementsInterface other departments (Sales through Service) on a daily basisTravel to customer facilities to take field measurements and discuss project details as neededAssist Engineering Manager in creating and maintaining engineering standards and proceduresReview new projects with Sales and Controls Engineering to develop solid applications for quotingActively participate in design review meetingsAssist Service with Engineering related to field issues and warranty workWork effectively to complete projects within time constraintsBasic Requirements:High school diploma (Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred)Demonstrated OEM equipment design experience (conveyor design preferred)Must be detail-orientedStrong organization and communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.Must have excellent work ethic and take pride in workExperience with AutoCADExperience with Inventor or other 3D design softwareMust be looking to build a career with a company (this is a long-term hire)Preferred Experience:AutoCAD 3D (Inventor) or Solidworks experienceUnderstanding of various product manufacturing processes as it relates to material handling
