This leadership role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Personal Care Assistant (PCA) team while ensuring residents receive exceptional care, dignity, and respect.The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, organized, and passionate about leading caregivers in a fast-paced senior living environment.ResponsibilitiesLead, support, and supervise the daily activities of the PCA teamAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meal assistanceEnsure quality resident care is delivered consistently and according to care plansAssist with scheduling support, shift coverage, and daily staff assignmentsProvide training and mentorship to new and existing PCA staffMonitor staff performance and report concerns to nursing leadershipMaintain accurate documentation of resident care and staff communicationRespond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and family concernsPromote a positive team environment focused on resident-centered careEnsure compliance with facility policies, safety procedures, and state regulationsSupport medication reminders and wellness checks as permitted by roleAssist leadership with quality assurance and retention initiativesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPCA, HHA, or CNA certification preferred (based on state requirements)Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience in assisted living, senior care, or long-term carePrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong communication and team leadership skillsCompassionate, patient, and resident-focused approachAbility to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as neededReliable transportation and strong attendance recordBilingual candidates are encouraged to applyBenefitsCompetitive hourly payHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401(k) with company matchCareer growth opportunitiesSupportive leadership teamMeaningful work in senior careWhy Join The Eliot at Erie Station?At The Eliot at Erie Station, we believe quality care starts with strong leadership.
