Precast Plant Manager

The Plant Manager will play a key leadership role in managing daily operations, improving efficiency, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.Reporting StructureReports To: General ManagerDirect Reports: Plant SupervisorsKey ResponsibilitiesOperations & ProductionDevelop and manage production schedules based on manpower, demand, and company goals.Oversee all plant and yard operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.Monitor inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.Coordinate with project management and quality control to meet customer expectations.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, train, and supervise plant supervisors and production staff.Conduct daily supervisor meetings to review production and operational needs.Evaluate employee performance and identify training and development opportunities.Mentor and coach team members to support career growth.Safety & CompliancePromote and maintain a safe, clean work environment.Conduct monthly safety meetings and address any safety concerns.Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.Continuous ImprovementTrack key performance metrics and hold teams accountable for results.Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.Recommend equipment upgrades to improve productivity and reduce costs.QualificationsIndustry Experience5+ years of precast concrete experience.5+ years of production supervision or plant management experience.Technical SkillsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workflows.Key CompetenciesStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesSelf-motivated and results-drivenEffective communication skillsCommitment to safety and qualityWork Environment & Physical RequirementsRequires standing and walking for extended periods.Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.Must be able to work in an active manufacturing environment.
