Their platform enables creators to run their own live networks; turning audiences into active participants and unlocking entirely new revenue streams.With a high-calibre team from leading tech companies and top universities, and a major global launch on the horizon, they’re now hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help scale their next-generation live video platform.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and scale low-latency live streaming infrastructure (WebRTC, HLS, RTMP)Develop backend systems powering real-time automation, including live graphics, overlays, and broadcast toolingArchitect high-performance systems that synchronise live video with real-time data streamsContribute to and optimise cloud infrastructure, deployments, and system reliabilityCollaborate closely with senior leadership on complex technical challenges at the intersection of streaming, data, and AISkills Required3–4+ years of experience as a software engineer (full-stack)Strong experience with live video protocols (WebRTC, RTMP, HLS) and media processing (e.g. FFmpeg)Proficiency in backend development with high-concurrency systems (Node.JS & React - GO & Rust would be a bonus)Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code toolsFamiliarity with modern AI/LLM tooling and real-time systems is a plusStrong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentBonus: interest in sports or live entertainmentIf you’re excited about building cutting-edge, real-time systems that redefine how people experience live content, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.Apply now or reach out directly to learn more.
