Audit Senior

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Supervise all phases of audit engagements, including planning, execution, and review of workpapers.Prepare audited financial statements and present findings during client meetings.Train and mentor junior staff to ensure quality and compliance with audit standards.Oversee both audit and non-audit assignments, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Maintain a thorough understanding of firm policies and procedures to guide team performance. Requirements:A minimum of 3+ years of experience in public accounting or audit roles.CPA license, successful completion of the CPA exam, or eligibility to sit for the exam.Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and specialized accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and accounting software such as QuickBooks.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Prior experience auditing not-for-profit organizations or affordable housing entities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed to meet engagement deadlines.REF #51327
