Whether you’re passionate about food safety, kitchen operations, or culinary innovation, this role provides a platform to grow your skills in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. *Duties* * Prepare and assemble menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation tasks such as poaching, braising, grilling, and meal assembly to ensure timely service * Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently * MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS at ALL TIMES by following strict food safety sanitizing procedures and ensuring all work areas meet health standards * Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal modifications as required * Handle food safely during preparation and service, practicing proper food handling techniques at all times * Assist with food production for catering events or special menu offerings while maintaining quality consistency *Qualifications- WILLING TO TRAIN ON ALL QUALIFICATIONS TO THE RIGHT PERSON* * Previous experience in food service environments is highly desirable * Knowledge of menu planning * Experience working in high-volume production settings is a plus * Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently * Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitizing procedures * Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to food handling protocols * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to support a busy kitchen environment effectively This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their work and knowledge while contributing to a lively coffee shop atmosphere.
