Position Summary
The Program Director at Guided Paths is a administrator responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business performance, and ensuring organizational efficiency across programs and service lines. The Program Director partners closely with the COO and leadership to translate strategic goals into operational execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable growth.
This role has direct responsibility for operational performance, staff productivity, service delivery efficiency, and financial outcomes, with a compensation structure tied to monthly business production.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day operations across Tidewater Guided Paths programs and departments.
Ensure operational alignment with organizational strategy, policies, and regulatory requirements (DMAS, DBHDS, and other applicable agencies).
Develop and implement operational systems, workflows, and performance standards to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Monitor program capacity, staffing models, and productivity to meet business and clinical goals.
Financial & Business Performance
Collaborate with the COO leadership to monitor monthly business production, revenue, and expense performance.
Ensure programs meet or exceed established monthly and annual production targets.
Analyze operational data and financial reports to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
Performance Management & Accountability
Establish clear operational KPIs tied to productivity, quality, compliance, and financial performance.
Hold program managers accountable for meeting monthly production and performance goals.
Lead regular operational reviews to assess progress against targets.
Support corrective action plans when programs fall below performance expectations.
Leadership & Team Development
Provide direct supervision and leadership to operations managers, and administrative leaders.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support leadership development, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes.
Partner with Human Resources to ensure staffing plans align with operational needs.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure operational practices comply with DMAS, DBHDS, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
Support audits, licensing visits, and compliance reviews.
Collaborate with Risk Management and Clinical Leadership to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $80,000 annually
Bonus Structure Overview
Bonus eligibility is based on achievement of predefined monthly production benchmarks, operational KPIs, and organizational performance metrics.
Monthly production performance will be reviewed and tracked throughout the year.
Bonus payouts may be distributed quarterly or annually, at the discretion of executive leadership.
Failure to meet minimum production thresholds may reduce or eliminate bonus eligibility for the applicable period.
Qualifications Required
Masters degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-program operations and driving business performance.
Strong understanding of operational finance, productivity metrics, and performance management.
Knowledge of DMAS and DBHDS regulatory environments preferred.
