Director of Site Reliability & Security - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Site Reliability & Security - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $200,000 – $225,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead the first SOC 2 Type II audit for the organization Define SOC 2 policies and technical controls across Trust Services Criteria Implement continuous compliance monitoring into engineering workflows Set and manage SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for critical services Oversee incident management lifecycle and improve response processes Architect cloud infrastructure for availability and disaster recovery Collaborate with teams to integrate reliability and security in developmentQualifications Hands-on experience leading a SOC 2 Type II audit from readiness to report delivery Expertise in Azure, including networking and security services Strong skills in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code Proven history of designing and managing highly available distributed systems Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools In-depth knowledge of application and network security principles Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and PrometheusBenefits Health and wellbeing benefits Retirement and financial benefits Paid time off Overtime pay for non-exempt employees Learning and development programs Reimbursement for job-related expenses Employee perks and discountsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
