Workshop Technician

Job Summary – To ensure preparation, maintenance and dispatch of equipment to and from the field and abroad. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Activities: Workshop services (maintenance of all equipment, organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness in the workshop, learn the Interwell QCP process, maintain equipment “job ready”) Testing of existing and new products Preparation of equipment for issue Execution / completion of work orders in IFS (before and after redressing equipment, and the Workshop Technician duties in the Mobilization Work Orders) Delivery of equipment from the field, checking Mobilization Lists, Serial numbers, checking for and reporting any damage to tools and/or equipment, and preparing the tools for proper storage. Packing of Offshore Baskets and Land Trailers in accordance with Interwell rules for securing goods Other duties as assigned Responsible for: Responsible for maintenance and dispatch of equipment according to work order Responsible for receiving and maintaining inbound equipment from field Responsible for maintaining equipment and tools in proper working order and in the correct locations Becoming fully competent within Interwell’s business management system for all workshop activities Adhere to local and external relevant health & safety laws and policies Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills Team Activities: Participate in internal meetings with the Operations Department Participate in internal and / or external QA & HSE meetings Participate in writing Safety Observation Cards whenever possible Requirements: Technical college or work experience equivalent Relevant workshop experience High degree of accuracy Mechanical inclination preferred Domestic and International Travel capability Desire to perform tasks efficiently and purposefully Desire to grow professionally QHSE Responsibilities: It is mandatory that employee is familiar with and follows the Company`s Policy for Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment and takes an active part in compliance and improvement of the Management System to maintain our system in certification. Employee must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems to QHSE and/or Department Manager. Employee also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation to follow all Company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage and permit conditions and to know what to do in an emergency. The employee is also responsible for the health, safety and security arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
