We are currently hiring Armed Security Officers in the Chicago Area This is a full-time position. Must have open availability and available to start ASAP. Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and security of assigned premises through active monitoring and presence. Conduct regular patrols of designated areas in compliance with established security protocols. Identify and assess potential security threats, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies in accordance with company policies and procedures. Prepare accurate and detailed reports for all security-related incidents and activities. Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and clients, addressing any safety or security concerns. Monitor security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras, to detect and respond to unusual or suspicious activity. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to ensure swift resolution of critical situations. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid state-issued Driver’s License. Active PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) Completion of 20-hour Basic Security Training course. Original Firearms Training certificate issued by IDFPR. Valid FOID Card (Firearm Owner's Identification). Active Concealed Carry License (CCL). High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid and current security guard license for the state of employment. Prior experience in a security-related role is preferred. Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physically capable of walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods. Able to perform physically demanding tasks as needed. Familiarity with basic security procedures and best practices. Must be available to start ASAP.
