PROJECT EXECUTIVE - MEP

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create AlertHopkins | Lacy is searching for a Project Executive to join our team to lead pursuits and operations teams in developing & reviewing proposals and have oversight for Electrical construction projects in Central & Southwest Virginia. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Operations, and work with the preconstruction and Operations staff in delivering projects. The candidate will be capable of overseeing multiple projects. This position will be responsible for meeting project financials and requires the candidate to be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and to be committed to quality and safety.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for successful pursuit, hiring and retaining craft and supervision staff, and oversight of multiple projects. Participate with leadership in manpower planning across the entire business.Ensure profitable project completion within the project timelineLead project through buy out, execution, turnover, and close outCoordinate the "hand-off" from estimating to the operations teamParticipate in the pursuit phase Technical Work GroupsLead Operations personnel to perform constructability reviewsLead the development of innovative and value engineering ideasOversee development and management of project schedule throughout project life cycleProvide guidance and work with Operations staff to oversee manpower, buyout of subcontractor and material contractsAttend monthly meetings with Owner to monitor progress and manage relationshipParticipate in monthly project reviews, financial forecasting, and project level P&LQualifications10+ years related industry experienceIn depth knowledge of pursuing, and constructing Electrical projects ranging in value from $1,000,000 to $25,000,000Proficient at strategy development and executionAbility to accurately assess and present the current financial status of projectsAbility to forecast monthly, quarterly, yearly, and final results of projectsAbility to develop, lead, and participate in a team environmentProficient understanding of the scope of work involved to construct Electrical projectsAdvanced writing and communication skillsTravelWillingness to travel approximately up to 50% of the timeSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position will as many as 3 or more direct reports.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
