Salary $50- 90,000 Depending Upon Experience ResponsibilitiesProvide daily operational support for the departmentSupervisor and track the daily activities of the departmentReview all completed technician paperwork for accuracy and process following workflow guidelinesEnsure all staff are up-to-date on safety, vendor, and required training and licensingManagement time & attendance, paid time off, and payrollCoordinate staffing to cover assignments as needed, including on-call list, if requiredDevelop your team and serve as a motivator and coach for each memberProvide performance feedback timely using the company-approved platformAssist leadership with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new department staffOpen willingness to continual learningInteract with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional mannerDemonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core valuesAny other duties deemed appropriate by managementRequired2 years of Fire Life Safety and/or service manager experience Leadership skills: management experience Must be organized and able to exercise effective time management skills to prioritize workloadMust be able to source, understand, and interpret industry codes and standardsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency working in Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Word, ExcelMust be able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certificationsPass drug and background screeningsValid driver’s licensePhysical DemandsAble to safely and effectively use general hand and power toolsLift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.; push and pull greater than 50 lbs.Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet and operate a man lift that may reach heights exceeding 40 feet to perform servicesExposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noisesWork in Confined Space environmentsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear.
