As our workload continues to increase, we are seeking an experienced *Professional Engineer (PE)* to join our team and contribute to the continued growth of our company. The ideal candidate needs to have *10+ years of professional engineering experience*, strong CAD and computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to take ownership of projects from design through completion. Experience with *forensic engineering projects* is strongly preferred. This is an opportunity to join a *small, growing firm where your experience and expertise can have a direct impact on our projects, clients, and future growth.* Responsibilities * Lead and manage engineering projects from initial evaluation and design through completion. * Prepare, review, and stamp engineering plans and documents within your area of professional responsibility. * Develop and review engineering drawings using *AutoCAD and other CAD software*. * Perform engineering analysis, design, and technical reviews. * Conduct site visits, field investigations, and inspections as needed. * Lead and support *forensic engineering investigations*, including site evaluations, analysis, documentation, and reporting. * Prepare professional engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other technical documents. * Communicate directly with clients, contractors, architects, and other project professionals. * Review projects for accuracy, constructability, code compliance, and overall quality. * Manage project schedules, deadlines, and priorities. * Work collaboratively with Venture's engineering and administrative teams. * Provide technical guidance and contribute to the continued development of the firm. Qualifications * *Professional Engineer (PE) license required.* * *10+ years of professional engineering experience preferred.* * Proficiency in *AutoCAD/CAD software*. * Strong computer skills, including *Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word*. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Experience preparing, reviewing, and stamping professional engineering plans and documents. * *Forensic engineering experience strongly preferred.* * Strong understanding of engineering design principles, building codes, and applicable standards. * Experience with engineering design and field/site work. * Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a small, collaborative team.
