See more about our benefits and why DG is a great place to work below.The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling small electrostatic discharger components in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will use hand tools and follow clear work instructions to build parts step-by-step while meeting established quality standards. We are seeking someone with prior assembly experience who enjoys working with their hands, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work. If you are dependable, comfortable in a production setting, and enjoy being part of a steady, team-oriented environment, this is a great opportunity to join a long-standing aerospace manufacturer.Responsibilities:Assemble small parts according to blueprints and detailed work instructionsUse tools, jigs, and fixtures to handle and assemble componentsOperate ovens and work with adhesives, epoxies, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelinesSupport a team-oriented environment by cross-training and assisting in other production areas as neededDemonstrate company values through consistent, high-quality workPerform additional duties as assigned by managementComply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety DirectorMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructionsStrong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for use of hand tools and small componentsBasic computer skillsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityWillingness and ability to learn new procedures and processesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, Not Required):Prior aerospace manufacturing experiencePre-Employment Requirements:All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.Why You'll Love Working Here:We are a multi-generational team with members representing a diversity of cultures, educational backgrounds, experience levels and ideas all'making it happen' from one location in beautiful, coastal South Florida.
