Join us and be part of a company that values creativity, agility, and impactful work.The Electronic Technician / Test Technician (ATE) is responsible for performing hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic systems and automated test equipment (ATE) used in a manufacturing environment. This role supports production, quality, and engineering teams by ensuring reliable test operations, accurate diagnostics, and continuous improvement of test processes.Location: Erda, UTDuties and Responsibilities:Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing of electronic systems, components, and assemblies using automated test equipment (ATE) and laboratory toolsTroubleshoot test failures, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actionsMaintain, repair, and support ATE test stations, fixtures, and associated equipmentConduct preventative maintenance, calibration checks, and system diagnostics to ensure equipment reliabilityInspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, equipment, and softwareAnalyze test results and generate detailed troubleshooting and diagnostic reportsCollaborate with ATE Engineers, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve yield and performanceAct as an interface between contract manufacturing (CM) personnel and engineering teams to support test operationsObserve existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and throughputMaintain accurate documentation of test results, equipment logs, and maintenance activitiesSupport installation, setup, and validation of new test stations and fixturesRequirements3+ years of experience as an Electronic Technician, Test Technician, or equivalent in a manufacturing or electronics environmentTechnical diploma or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related fieldStrong hands-on experience with electronic troubleshooting and test methodologiesKnowledge of analog and digital circuits and power electronicsExperience operating laboratory/test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, electronic loads, RF devices)Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE), fixtures, and test stationsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsBasic knowledge of networking, computer systems, and operating systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsExperience in an electronics manufacturing environment or with contract manufacturers (CM)Experience with Agile PLM and/or Priority ERP systemsKnowledge of test data analysis and yield improvement processesFamiliarity with production test environments and high-volume manufacturingKey CompetenciesTroubleshooting and root cause analysisTechnical curiosity and self-learning abilityStrong communication and cross-functional collaborationAttention to detail and documentation disciplineAdaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWork Environment* Manufacturing production floor and lab environment (hands-on role)* Interaction with engineering, quality, and production teamsJUST WORKPLACESolarEdge proudly seeks to build a richly diverse workforce by hiring people with a diversity of thoughts, identities, perspectives, and experiences that help advance the difference we make for consumers, and by ensuring our people experience equity and inclusion in their work lives.
