Department: SalesLocation: Shield Technology Partners - NYCCompensation: $85,000 - $160,000 / yearDescriptionWe’re hiring a sharp, driven M&A Sourcing Associate to join our Business Development team and help build the foundation of our deal origination engine.As a Sourcing Associate, you’ll identify and connect with founder-led MSPs across the country—surfacing high-quality targets, launching outreach campaigns, and collaborating with our deal team to drive top-of-funnel growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate DealsRun high-volume, personalized outbound campaigns via email, phone, and LinkedIn.Engage directly with founders and executives to qualify interest and book intro calls.Craft compelling messaging and iterate based on conversion insights.Manage and Optimize the FunnelMaintain accurate activity tracking and data hygiene in HubSpot.Monitor outreach performance by segment, geography, and other deal filters.Partner with leadership to continuously improve targeting, sequencing, and lead quality.Collaborate Cross-FunctionallyWork closely with the Strategy and Investment teams to enrich market maps and prioritize targets.Share insights from founder conversations to inform sourcing strategy.Contribute to tooling, data ops, and sourcing process improvements.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseBachelor’s degree from a 4-year universityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExposure to CRM platforms like HubSpot or SalesforceDemonstrated interest in M&A, private equity, or entrepreneurshipExceptionally organized and detail-orientedSelf-starter with intellectual curiosity and a high internal driveComfortable owning outreach, targets, and results in a high accountability settingExperience in sourcing, SDR/BDR roles, recruiting, PE/IB analyst programs, or startup operations a plusFamiliarity with tools like dialers, Clay, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plusJob BenefitsOn-Target Earnings: $125K+ ($85K base + performance bonus); top performers can earn $160K+Career Path: Opportunity for promotion into more senior associate-level roles or portfolio operationsTools & Training: Access to best-in-class sourcing and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Clay, etc.)Remote Flexibility: Eligible after Year 1 based on performance
