Job SummaryPERM OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - OTTalented Medical SolutionsFull-timeIn-Office | Newport News, VA, United States102-bed skilled nursing center, located near Riverside Regional Medical Center, and a proud member of the Consulate Health Care family.$39-40Date05/31/26Shift1Start8:00 AMEnd4:30 PMClassP-OTAreaNewport News NursingPermTrueOrder ReasonPerm Placement OpeningResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans for clients.Deliver hands-on OT services to clients in onsite clinical and community settings.Monitor client progress and adjust plans to optimize functional outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care.Adhere to regulatory, ethical, and clinical guidelines governing occupational therapy.Document assessments, treatment notes, and outcomes in electronic health records.Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans aligned with each client’s goals.Track and report outcomes to meet quarterly targets and maintain high visibility of work.Engage in active pipeline and territory planning to identify potential referrals and caseload growth.Educate clients and families on activities of daily living and home programs.Identify opportunities for professional development and pursue certifications relevant to OT practice.Mentor junior staff and share best practices to foster a learning culture.Experience/QualificationsLicensed OT with active state registration and up-to-date credentials.Completion of mandatory OT fieldwork and hands-on therapy delivery experience.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans.Knowledge of regulatory, ethical, and clinical OT guidelines.Proficient documentation in electronic health records with outcome tracking.Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for client-centered care.Experience in community-based and onsite OT service delivery.Active pipeline development and territory planning for referrals growth.Ability to monitor progress, adjust plans, and report quarterly outcomes.Mentorship and knowledge sharing to develop junior staff.What's in it for you?
