Commissioning Department Manager

Job DescriptionLeading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Commissioning Department Manager for their Detroit team!Responsibilities:Work with project managers to provide resources to successfully execute projectsEstablish work plans/estimatesEnsure completed work product is consistent with client requirements and firm's standardsSupervise project execution and staff to meet performance metrics/goalsCommunicate with clientsPrepare proposals and administer project contractsExecute QA/QC process for the Commissioning on projectsMaintain backlogs/manpower forecasts to ensure proper staffing levels and department utilizationPerform staff resource management and annual reviewsAssist Human Resources on recruitment/training effortsAssist with business developmentParticipate in trade organizations Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred8+ years of Commissioning experience in the Building industryPE License preferredCBCP, CCP, CPMP or CxA CertificationLEED AP with specialty preferredExperience with Commissioning Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projectsStrong knowledge of MEP/FP Building systems design/construction processes, building automation systems, and Test and Balance process and proceduresKnowledge of Revit and energy simulation softwareSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com
