Job Title: Carpentry Instructor (Part-Time)Schedule: 1015 hours per weekLocation: Remote Program: NCCER Carpentry Training ProgramPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Instructor to deliver high-quality training aligned with NCCER standards. This part-time role is ideal for a journey-level carpenter who is passionate about developing the next generation of tradespeople. The instructor will provide hands-on and classroom instruction, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in carpentry.Key Responsibilities:Deliver instruction in NCCER carpentry curriculum, including both classroom and hands-on trainingPrepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical demonstrationsEvaluate student performance and provide constructive feedbackMaintain a safe, organized, and productive learning environmentTrack student progress and maintain required documentationReinforce industry best practices, safety standards, and worksite expectationsQualifications:57 years of journey-level carpentry experience (required)NCCER certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)Prior teaching or training experience (preferred)Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and safety protocolsAbility to communicate effectively with diverse groups of learnersBilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly desirableSkills & Attributes:Strong leadership and mentoring abilitiesClear communication and instructional skillsPatience and adaptability in a learning environmentCommitment to workforce development and student success recblid hhux66rhhmf0n3fe8mwyqbl3rxba3j
