This apprenticeship program is designed for candidates interested in building a career in the low-voltage and integrated technology industry.Apprentices will receive structured training, mentorship from experienced technicians, and hands-on field experience installing and maintaining advanced technology systems. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable technical skills while earning and advancing within the industry.ResponsibilitiesAssist technicians with the installation of low-voltage systems including:Access control systemsVideo surveillance (CCTV) systemsNetwork cabling and infrastructureAudio/visual systemsSecurity and life safety systemsSupport system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenanceLearn to read and interpret technical drawings and system diagramsFollow safety procedures and company standards on job sitesMaintain tools, equipment, and organized work areasParticipate in apprenticeship training and coursework as required by the ABC programWork collaboratively with project teams and supervisorsQualificationsTo qualify for sponsorship and program eligibility, candidates must:Be at least 17½ years of age (legal guardian signature required if under 18)Possess a High School Diploma or GEDProvide sealed official transcripts showing:One year of high school algebra orOne semester of college algebra with a passing gradeSocial Security CardPossess a valid Driver’s LicenseProvide a K4 DMV driving recordBe eligible to work in the United StatesFinal Acceptance Into The Apprenticeship Program Is Subject ToSuccessful completion of the TABE aptitude test (70% minimum)Successful completion of oral interview (80% minimum)Completion of ABC SoCal orientationPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbsClimb ladders and work at heightsStrong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsCompensationApprentices begin at a percentage of Journeyman wage (per program guidelines)Progressive wage increases throughout the apprenticeshipFull-time employment statusWhat We OfferPaid apprenticeship trainingHands-on experience with industry-leading technologyMentorship from experienced techniciansCareer advancement opportunities within VectorUSACompetitive pay and benefitsOpportunity to build a long-term career in the technology infrastructure industryVectorUSA is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
