Sanitation Associate - 2nd and 3rd shift

Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking 2nd and 3rd shift Sanitation team members to join our team in St. Henry. SHIFT HOURS: (2nd shift)Monday through Friday 3:30pm-12:30am (3rd shift) Sunday through Thursday 9:15pm-5:45am STARTING HOURLY RATE$17.25-$18.25 with the potential increase after 90 days ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided. Job functions include: Being responsible for cleaning equipment and surfaces as well as documenting work in the turkey harvesting facility. Removing all debris accumulated throughout the day on the processing equipment, floor and surrounding areas. Maintaining a clean and safe plant while adhering to all USDA/AQ/HACCP requirements for sanitation operations. Being responsible for wearing proper PPE when using chemicals or cleaning supplies. RequirementsMust be 18 years of age Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
