Welder Fitter

Job Description We are currently seeking skilled Welder/Fitters for an upcoming contract project. This position requires experienced candidates who can both weld and fit carbon steel pipe to exact specifications.This is a contract position with potential for long-term opportunities based on performance.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on carbon steel pipe in accordance with specificationsSet up and prepare materials, including fitting, alignment, and joint preparationRead and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and work instructionsExecute full weld process while ensuring proper fit-up and weld qualityConduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and complianceMaintain welding tools and equipment in proper working conditionREQUIREMENTS:Minimum 3 years of welding and fitting experienceMust be proficient in both pipe welding and fitting (not a single-skill role)Experience with carbon steel pipe requiredStrong blueprint reading and fit-up skillsMust be able to prepare, fit, and weld your own workpiecesMust pass a 3G weld test (coupon) and fit testClear background check requiredValid driver's license requiredSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturdays as needed)
