Insurance, WCB/WSIB, safety programs), and maintaining all documentationEnsure regulatory compliance including monitoring and maintaining all related HSSE policies; confirm all QA/QC requirements are metCreate, track, and maintain financial records, reports, and processes as requiredCreate and implement work systems and procedures as necessary for operational handover and provide adequate training to all team membersMaintain timelines, budgets, quality, and stakeholder satisfactionImplement and execute project management best practices and disciplinesAct as the Cando site representative as situations require; communicate with all stakeholders as requiredSupport & AdministrationSupport the execution or implementation of new and existing business working with Project Management teamMust have the ability to travel away from home for extended periods to support new and existing businessTrack all customer interactions and knowledge baseBuild and maintain positive and respectful working relationships with team membersSkills, Knowledge, & AbilitiesAbility to independently plan, organize, and prioritize workload leading to successful implementation of projects in a dynamic environmentDemonstrate strong leadership qualities including communication, motivational support, teamwork, and conflict resolution skillsWorking knowledge of project management principles and Cando’s service delivery practicesAdvanced computer skills with ability to learn, implement, and share new processes and technologiesProficient in the use of Office 365 programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Projects, MS Visio, etc.Technical knowledge of marine and/or transload and terminal equipment, metering and regulationsAdvanced knowledge with railway operations, yard management, Class 1 railways and related softwareAwareness of lean management principals and conceptsAbility to hold and maintain all required certifications required to execute responsibilitiesAbility to travel to various locations throughout the Canada and the USEducation & ExperienceExperience working in a a refinery, marine terminal, railway or related industrial environmentExperience working with hydrocarbon processes, regulations and equipmentExperience in railcar handling, TDG and railcar anatomyDiploma in Business or Project Management is preferredNote: This description is not intended to limit the assignment of work or be construed as a complete list of the many duties to be performed by the incumbent.
