Systems Engineer II – Stinger program, Tucson, AZ, On-site
What You Will Do:
Support testing and data analysis for Stinger missile Guidance Sections and other areas of production including Launcher platforms.
Develop and maintain requirements, systems architecture and design, updating and maintaining Interface definitions & description documents by collaborating with multiple IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design information.
Work with Suppliers and the Supply Chain organization for procured items managed through the role of Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for that Assembly.
Support Statistical Process Control assessments in the factory and as part of hardware verification of the Missile Guidance sections as well at higher level assemblies.
Support flight test activities both in potential field support, telemetry analysis post‑flight, and writing test reports.
Gain SE technical expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
Support technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines.
Support peer reviews and formal release of Technical Data Package documents.
Expect travel on occasion (~10% time maximum).
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with systems engineering.
Experience performing requirements definition, decomposition, and changes.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with cPDM, CCB, and document release experience (engineering and formal release).
Ability to work independently and work with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, and other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.
Experience with system and sub‑system level requirements development, design and documentation of system level software architecture.
Experience demonstrating your communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills with customers and leading technical solutions to complex user needs.
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Familiarity with DoD customer infrastructure and Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
