Job Description
What You Will Do:Operates horizontal directional drilling equipment in accordance with blueprints and designated plansInstalling 500 – 1,000 feet of conduit in a typical workdayMaintains equipment per manufacturer's specifications and safety guidelinesAssisting in potholing, remediation, setting hand holes and pulling fiberKeep good records, as built drawings and complete daily site inspectionsWhat You Will Need:Knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practicesAble to read blueprints/underground utility plans/redlines and interpret work assignmentsAdheres to directional drilling best practicesKnowledge of job site safety practicesAble to work in trenches, manholes, tunnels and confined spaces and in work settings with moderate to loud noise levelsAble to move in different positions – crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassistedWilling to work overtime when requiredWilling to travel and to work in all-weather conditionsSelf-motivated and able to work well in groupsMinimum High School Diploma or equivalent2 years working with Vermeer or Ditch Witch DDD, or equivalent required2 years working in the telecommunications industryMust have a CDLEducation Required: High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA10 safety card certification is required. (If applicant does not hold an OSHA10 certification, Centerline Communications LLC will pay for computer-based training with applicant completing on-line course within 5 days of hiring on their own.
