Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Floor Technician at CGH Medical Center, located in Cherry Valley, IL. The Floor Technician will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and care of floors throughout the facility. Daily tasks include vacuuming, carpet cleaning, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing floors, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The position also involves adhering to environmental services standards and collaborating with team members to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation. Qualifications Skill and experience in Carpet and Floor Cleaning techniquesProficiency in Waxing and other floor maintenance tasksKnowledge of Environmental Services standards and practicesStrong Communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisorsAttention to detail and ability to ensure high standards of cleanlinessPrior experience in a healthcare facility or similar environment is a plusAbility to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and prolonged standingHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred
