Telehandler/Material Handler

*Job Summary* We are seeking experienced *Material Handlers with Telehandler certification* to support Construction operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a *telehandler* to move, stage, load, and unload materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and following established safety procedures. This position requires a strong background in material handling, inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations. Candidates must be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Operate a telehandler to safely load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout constrcution site. * Load, unload, stage, and distribute construction materials including steel, pipe, lumber, drywall, pallets, equipment, and tools. * Deliver materials to designated work areas to support construction crews and project schedules. * Maintain accurate inventory records of construction materials, tools, and equipment. * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required. * Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. * Maintain organized laydown yards and material storage areas. * Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and site-specific procedures. Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of experience in construction material handling, warehouse operations, yard operations, or construction logistics. * *Current Telehandler Certification required.* * Minimum 2 years of hands-on telehandler operating experience in a construction or industrial environment. * Experience handling and staging construction materials including pipe, steel, lumber, concrete products, equipment, or related materials. * Knowledge of inventory control, material tracking, receiving, and shipping processes. * Ability to read material lists, packing slips, purchase orders, delivery tickets, and site plans. * Forklift certification and operating experience preferred. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical material handling duties.
