If you have at least 1 year of experience leading a landscape maintenance crew, a true passion for outdoor work, and are a motivated team player looking for a career, we invite you to come grow with us!Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform all tasks related to landscape maintenance which include pruning, weeding, mulching, raking, cleaning, and other duties as assigned Must be able to take direction, lead, delegate, train, and support others in a positive and patient manner Ensure proper procedures, processes and quality of work are followed and achievedUnderstand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing quality of workSafe use of power equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, mowers, weed trimmers, etc.Maintain a clean and orderly job site including the office, yard, and company vehiclesMaintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehiclesFollow job site and vehicle safety proceduresAttend training classes and seminars as requested by Field Operations ManagerRequired Skills/Abilities Experience in leading landscaping crews is required for this positionSelf-motivated, positive attitude and able to problem solveWell-rounded background in residential planting projects - both renovations and new installations Professional in appearance and actionsAbility to communicate with and provide excellent customer service to our clientsDetail oriented and quality drivenMust be well organized with an ability to multi-task Maintain a safe work environment Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Belmont, MA and must be willing to work extended hours and weekendsRequirementsEducation and Experience/ Licenses: 1+ year of landscaping experience required Experience using commercial mowers and other power equipment required Valid MA Driver’s License required DOT medical card a plusLandscape industry certifications are a huge plusPhysical Requirements Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand and walk long distances Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 poundsJob Type: Full-time, seasonal with the option to work during snow operations
