DescriptionJob Description:Title: Branch Operations Supervisor - Commercial LinesWork Mode: Hybrid 1-2 daysout of one of our IOA officesin CST or EST zone | Supporting: Cherry Hill, NJ branch. Book Focus: Trucking, Transportation, ConstructionPlease note: If this position is posted as either fully remote and/or hybrid, in accordance with company policy, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity as there may be occasions when on-site presence is necessary to meet specific business needs. To view our branch locations, please visit: ioausa.com/locationsAbout the Role: Responsible for direct management of Account Team staff, including assigning tasks and managing workflows, monitoring and improving staff performance, scheduling, human resource management, staffing, training, staff development, staff communication and support, process, policy, and procedure compliance, and modeling core values. Key Responsibilities:Team LeadershipManage Account Management staff, monitor performance, and provide coaching. HR ManagementEnsure compliance with HR processes and policies. Performance MonitoringEnsure productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards. SchedulingManage staff days off calendars for service continuity. Staffing LevelsEnsure appropriate staffing levels and recommend adjustments. Employee SelectionParticipate in interviewing and hiring recommendations. Performance EvaluationPrepare and deliver performance evaluations. Coaching and DevelopmentProvide coaching, consultation, and training. Professional DevelopmentEncourage growth and development of personnel. Succession PlanningDevelop future branch operations leaders. Culture PromotionPromote IOA culture and improve engagement. Performance GapsIdentify gaps and implement corrective actions. Data AnalysisMonitor and interpret performance data. CommunicationMaintain transparent communication with leadership. Process ImprovementDevelop and ensure compliance with core work processes. Policy EnforcementImplement and enforce company policies. Technical CompetenceMaintain high technical competence and industry expertise. Leadership DevelopmentContinuously improve management and leadership skills. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with IOA leadership, peers, co-workers, and employees. Champion IOA Values: Demonstrate integrity and leadership. Ideal Candidate Qualifications:5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging industry knowledge 3+ years leadership experience. Salary RangeThe expected pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
