Distribution Center Supply Chain Analyst
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, with a focus on transportation, distribution, and logistics performance. This role leverages data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance service levels, and support strategic decision-making across the logistics network.
Location: Support Center, 6600 S Bermuda Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed, 40 - 50 hours per week
Pay: Up to $75,000
Job Responsibilities
Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost saving opportunities
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, freight cost, carrier performance, and warehouse throughput
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting models
Optimize transportation routes, load planning, and mode selection (LTL, FTL, parcel, intermodal, etc.)
Support network design and distribution strategies, including warehouse and routing optimization
Partner with carriers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders to improve service and performance
Track freight spend and analyze variances against budget and forecasts
Assist in procurement activities, including carrier selection, contract analysis, and rate benchmarking
Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Support implementation and optimization of systems such as Transportation
Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or equivalent work experience
2-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain analytics
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
Experience with TMS, WMS, ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Understanding of transportation modes and logistics operations
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis
Knowledge of supply chain network design and optimization tools
Familiarity with freight auditing, billing, and cost modeling
Understanding of regulatory requirements (DOT, FMCSA, import/export compliance)
APICS (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or similar certification Key Competencies
