IT Help Desk Analyst
Brief Description
This position is the primary on-site technology resource for our Reno, NV corporate headquarters and will be the point of contact for all day-to-day IT support needs, owning end-user support, systems administration, and IT asset management across the entire company.
Responsibilities
Help Desk Support
Serve as the first contact for hardware, software, network, and peripheral support requests via ticketing system, email, and walk-up
Triage, diagnose, and resolve technical issues for workstations, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices
Escalate complex issues to the Lead Systems Engineer with clear documentation and troubleshooting history; own resolution through to close
Manage and close tickets in Cyrq99s NetSuite IT support ticketing system; track resolution times, document issue trends, and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Systems and Infrastructure Support
Support Microsoft 365 environment user provisioning and access
Manage full employee IT (hardware / software) lifecycle (new user to deprovisioning)
Monitor and manage endpoint protection; respond to and escalate security alerts internally per established protocols
Perform routine maintenance on workstations and local network equipment
Assist with Acronis cloud backup monitoring and recovery tasks
Coordinate with the NetSuite Admin on user access provisioning, license management, and ERP-related IT support requests
Work closely with the Lead Systems Engineer on escalations, infrastructure projects, and technical direction; serve as the Reno-based execution resource for initiatives driven at the systems level
Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets across all Cyrq Energy locations, including the Reno corporate headquarters and plant sites
Coordinate with building management and vendors for connectivity, cabling, and peripheral needs
Document procedures, configurations, and recurring issues for knowledge base
Support conference room AV/technology setups
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (MD-102, MS-900, or equivalent) preferred
1 or more years of experience in a help desk, desktop support, or IT support role
Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Experience troubleshooting hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) and networking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Familiarity with ERP-based or integrated ticketing systems; experience with NetSuite preferred
Experience supporting a Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) / hybrid domain environment
Exposure to endpoint security tools (Sophos, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar)
Experience with Acronis or similar enterprise backup solutions
Valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Ability to complete domestic travel, up to 5%.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to sit, for long periods of time
When on plant locations
Able to walk moderate distances over uneven ground.
Able to tolerate remote environments, indoor /outdoor work, wildlife, possible dust, dirt, and wind, including any weather typical for all seasons in southern CA, NV, and UT.
Able to don all forms of required Personal Protective Equipment.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
