We are looking for consistent and compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to a vulnerable population in need and are self-starters who are comfortable working alone and working with a team.
We work in the principles of Adaptive skills training using the DIR/Floortime® modality. We service clients in the North Hollywood, Burbank and Pasadena.
Collaborate with our Adaptive skills Supervisor to provide direct 1:1 Adaptive skills training, primarily in home and community settings.
Work within our therapists’ standards to provide kind, compassionate and ethical care, while being recognized as an individual within our family of teammates.

We Teach individuals with autism and other developmental challenges to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while helping increase adaptive skill functioning.
We Collect data to track progress towards treatment goals
We Collaborate in clinical team meetings to report client progress and get specific feedback from your supervisor(s)

Responsibilities:
Inspiring growth in others and building adaptive skills
Working closely with Adaptive skill supervisor in implementing the individualized, direct intervention for clients
Implementing adaptive skills management procedures
Completing session notes to inform client progress
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a relevant Associate's degree completed with a Bachelor's degree in progress in Psychology, Education, Social Work or related human services field, OR
Must have a completed Bachelor’s in Psychology or Education.
Ability to clear FBI, DOJ, and TB testing
Have access to reliable transportation, and ability to provide automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license
Must be able and willing to travel a minimum radius of 20-40 miles from home
Reliable and predictable attendance is required
Must be able to fluently speak and write in English
Physical Requirements
Due to the active and physical nature of this position, the candidate must be able to stand, sit, lift at least 30 pounds, bend, kneel, twist, run, squat, bend, move for several minutes at a time, and speak articulately in order to effectively perform in this position. The physical elements of this position require candidates to be able to complete 10 minutes of consecutive aerobic movement/activity.
