Job description: This organization is a leading provider of structural steel fabrication and installation services, supporting large-scale construction projects across the United States. With operations across 16 offices nationwide, the company delivers consistent, high-quality work on complex, high-impact builds. The company offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment where driven individuals can take ownership of meaningful projects and grow their careers.They are currently hiring for an On-Site Project Manager to support construction projects across the U.S. This is a high travel role (approximately 80-90%), and candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., as long as they are willing to travel and stay near active job sites.Role overview:The On-Site Project Manager is responsible for coordinating day-to-day field operations alongside field crews and contractors. This includes managing material deliveries, resolving field issues, maintaining schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities include:Partnering closely with field crews to coordinate materials, logistics, and site needsScheduling and adjusting deliveries with steel fabricators, joist and deck suppliers, and other vendorsAttending daily and weekly coordination meetings with contractors and field teamsReviewing incoming materials and resolving any shortages or discrepancies quicklyCommunicating field changes and directives to internal project teams for documentationTracking project progress, manpower needs, and schedule adherence in collaboration with office-based Project ManagersEnsuring compliance with OSHA standards and all site-specific safety requirementsRepresenting SteelFab professionally with clients, contractors, and partnersQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver's licenseKnowledge of steel construction and job site safety best practicesProficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and general computer applicationsStrong communication and organizational skillsCompensation & Benefits:Total compensation: $110,000-$135,000Base salary: $85,000-$105,000Bonus: $25,000-$35,000$200/day per diem while on-siteOpportunity to work on large, high-impact projects across the U.S.Full benefits package, strong 401k match Job 58979 Salary: Total Comp: $115k-$135k, Full benefits package, 401k match
