Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, full-time Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who wants to be part of our great team doing very rewardable work. This position travels between our Butler, Kittanning, and Sarver offices with the possibility of one rotating day off as follows: Monday – Butler 10:00am-7:00pm Tuesday – Kittanning 10:00am-6:00pm Wednesday – Butler 8:30am – 5:30pm Thursday – Kittanning 8:30am – 4:30pm Friday – Sarver 8:30am – 4:30 pm This is a 35-40 hour/week in-office role (not remote or hybrid) As our Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for new patients and their families. You will act as a personal guide, educator, and patient advocate with several key responsibilities: Welcoming new patients and helping them feel comfortable and informed during their first visit. Explaining Treatment Plans: After the orthodontic exam is complete, and a treatment plan is recommended, explain details, expected timelines, and what to anticipate during the process in clear, easy-to-understand language. Discussing Financial Options: review the cost of treatment, explain insurance benefits, and explore available payment plans or financing options with patients and families. Scheduling: help coordinate appointments and ensure a smooth operational workflow across the team. Tracking and Administration: track patient data, manage records efficiently, and communicate care with dentists and oral surgeons. Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident presenting financial information and able to handle financial discussions tactfully. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft office systems. Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor with a team-oriented attitude.
