Assists Physician/RN in other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree required. Minimum one-year clinical background required, with knowledge of cardiac procedures, such as EKG, stress treadmill, and basic arrhythmia. Medical terminology preferred. Completion of an approved electro-cardio graphic techniques course required.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: EKG Certification required and Medical Assistant Certification preferred. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association certification required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job's purpose and objectives.
