Experienced Coffee Field Service Technician

Our team of service technicians are factory-certified pros with an average of over a decade in the field, you'll be in good company.ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Travel the region to install, repair, and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and other specialty coffee equipmentUtilize a company issued iPad to track time and materials in the FieldAware app, our field service management softwareKeep customers in the loop with timely updates on repair status and estimated timeframesMaintain your company-provided service vehicle in a neat, organized, and well-stocked conditionContribute to a tidy and efficient shop environmentParticipate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours serviceAssist other service technicians with installations and parts deliveryRequirementsEssential QualificationsPrevious experience in the coffee industryHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with the ability to be insuredProven customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanorStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently while also contributing to a teamPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of multimeter useVo-Tech school degree; or one to two years related experience with electrical and hydraulic systemsFamiliarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Drive, Calendar)BenefitsPosition BenefitsNegotiable starting wage of $24 - $30 an hour, plus productivity bonuses that average an additional $2 per hour for techniciansTake home service vehicle with gas cardCompany issued credit card for business related expenses including tools, our technicians do not spend any money out of pocketBring your own device policy with $30 per pay period cell phone reimbursementIn house technical support and training provided by our highly experienced techniciansMedical, dental and vision insuranceRetirement account matchingGenerous vacation policy & paid holidaysCompany paid life insurance & long term disabilityOngoing career development & trainingEducational assistance program that reimburses tuitionEmployee discounts on items from our product division, Intermix BeverageESI as an EmployerMedical, dental and vision insurance.
