OverviewCaring Senior Service of Oakland County South is seeking a full-time In-Home Care Agency Director to lead and grow our local office. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity ideal for someone with strong business acumen, hands-on care experience, and the ability to lead a team in a rapidly growing, mission-driven organization.What You'll DoAs Agency Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of local operations—from care coordination to financial performance—while building a strong, client-centered culture. You\'ll lead with empathy and excellence, ensuring the agency meets both regulatory requirements and the high standards of Caring Senior Service.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Operations & LeadershipDrive operational excellence through planning, audits, system oversight, and process improvementsInspire and lead a team of office staff and caregivers, promoting accountability and growthClient & Caregiver RelationsConduct in-home consultations and safety assessments with compassion and precisionEnsure caregivers are trained, motivated, and delivering exceptional serviceCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure ongoing compliance with all state, federal, and local regulationsMaintain all required licenses, accreditations, and documentationFinancial & Business OversightManage billing, payroll, and collectionsMonitor budgets and margins to ensure sustainable growth and profitabilityMarketing & Community EngagementAct as the local face of the agency—developing referral relationships, representing the brand, and driving local outreachWhat We're Looking ForLeadership ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years in leadership/management, in healthcare, senior care, or service operationsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teamsHands-On Senior Care BackgroundDirect experience providing care to seniors is requiredSkills & AttributesSelf-starter with strong problem-solvingcommunication, and decision-making skillsOrganized, adaptable, and results-orientedA leader who leads by example—with empathy, integrity, and a drive for excellencePhysical & Other RequirementsReliable transportation to conduct client visits across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb countiesAble to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/sit for extended periods, and drive as neededOn-call duties required, including occasional nights and weekendsCompensation: $55,000 – $60,000 annually, based on experienceMonthly performance program and operational efficiency bonus opportunities, which can add up to $5,000 annually based on results401(k) retirement plan (eligible after 1 year of service)Paid time off and holidaysMeaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of seniors and their familiesWhy Join Caring Senior Service?At Caring Senior Service, you don\'t just manage operations—you create meaningful impact.
