Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Company Description Foundations Developmental House LLC is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Clinic and Learning Center that specializes in supporting children from birth to 18 years old. Our experienced team of Speech-Language Pathologists creates individualized plans of care tailored to meet each child's unique speech and language therapy needs. Role Description This is a full-time, school based, on-site role based in Sierra Vista, AZ, for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. In this role, you will support Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans, working closely with children to help improve their speech, language, and communication abilities. Additionally, responsibilities will include documenting progress, assisting with articulation practice, and providing support to caregivers. Collaboration with the educational team to ensure optimal therapy outcomes is an essential part of this role. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge in Speech and Speech TherapyUnderstanding of Communication and Communication DisordersExperience or skills in supporting Articulation and related therapy techniquesAbility to effectively work with children and adapt therapy plans as neededStrong interpersonal and collaborative abilities, with a commitment to supporting familiesAssociate degree or certificate from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant programSLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of ArizonaPrevious experience in pediatric speech therapy or education is a plus
