Role: Open Source GitHub Maintainer – AI Training & Software EngineeringJob Type: ContractualLocation: Remote, Open GloballyCompensation: $150–$300/hourSchedule: Flexible, any hours/days of the week, as long as there is constant activity.Domain: GitHub | C++ | Java | TypeScript | Rust | GoLang | Python | CRole OverviewWe are looking for expert Senior Software Engineers to support a customer’s innovative project and help train next-generation AI systems.As a subject-matter expert, you’ll review code patches generated by an LLM for the repository or repositories you maintain and provide your professional assessment of each one. No prior AI experience is required.Applicants must have clear open source contributions and profiles to showcase, such as GitHub or GitLab.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate code patches generated by LLMs and offer detailed feedback on each one.Provide written justification to support your assessments.Conduct peer reviews of work submitted by other subject-matter experts.Key RequirementsExperience maintaining an open source repository.Experience reviewing code from contributors.Clear open source contributions and profiles to showcase, such as GitHub or GitLab.Expertise in relevant programming languages including C++, Java, TypeScript, Rust, GoLang, Python, or C.Strong software engineering and code review expertise.Application ProcessSubmit application & screening questions.Complete a ~30-minute AI Interview.Hiring Manager Review.Selected candidates proceed to onboarding.
